A Message from the Maker

Hey there, I'm glad you found your way here.

Over the years, I’ve lived through seasons of both celebration and grief, both love and loss. Through it all, my creativity remained my constant. In life’s many twists and turns, it was my creativity that stayed with me, even in moments when I couldn’t stay with it myself. 

No matter the season, creating (sometimes quietly, sometimes in many different forms) was something I could always return to, like a home that was always ready to receive and hold me. Over time, I came to understand that my creativity is my soul’s love letter to me, just as much as it is my love letter to my soul. When I create, I nourish both my body and spirit- a form of self-love, if you will. And now, through Nyuki, I get to create and share these love letters to others, like You.

Over the years of making for Nyuki, I’ve had the privilege of seeing many different and beautiful people wear my creations. Each time, I’m genuinely in awe. Watching my designs come alive on other women made one thing unmistakably clear to me: it was never my pieces that gave beauty to them. It was their presence, their light and energy that gave beauty to my work.

Nyuki is not here to adorn or decorate. My creations are not meant to make you beautiful, but to remind you that You already are. Like a sun catcher or prism that catches sunlight and gently reflects and refracts its colors, my pieces are meant to do the same-  catch and mirror the light, color, and beauty that already exist in You.

Nyuki is a reflection of my relationship with creativity, and an invitation for you to explore and celebrate your own. And if you’re here, please know that I’m deeply honored, grateful and so excited to be co-creating with You.
